Welcome to our newest Kickstarter project, Bullet❤! (The is ❤ silent.)
I’m Joshua Van Laningham, designer of Bullet❤ and project lead for Level 99 Games! This is my first fully-designed (non-expansion) game and I’m excited to finally be able to show it to you all! This game encompasses my love of shoot-em-up games, but even if you’re not a fan of those games, you will still find plenty to enjoy in the box!
No Stretch Goals?
That’s correct! In past projects of ours, we’ve offered our fair share of stretch goals...probably too many. While stretch goals do add a lot of fun content, it causes a lot of problems on the back end. Development times increase, contents get complicated, and projects get delivered much later than they need to be. In an effort to avoid these issues and deliver in a timely manner, this will be our first project with no stretch goals.
But never fear! We’ve made sure that the game is loaded with all the content and replayability Level 99 is known for! And if Bullet❤ does well, you’ll be sure to see more content for the game in the future!—And sooner too, since we won’t be spending the next 2 years finishing up stretch goals for this project!
In addition, testing for Bullet❤ is already finished, with art and final graphic design to follow suit soon enough! If you’d like to see all this yourself in action, check out our Tabletop Simulator mod and try the game out!
Update Schedule
On Wednesdays and Fridays during the campaign, I’ll be posting an update series called Behind the Curtain that takes a look at the universe of Bullet❤ (Cycle 617) and the heroines in it! If lore is your thing, you won’t want to miss these!
Other than this series, we’ll be keeping you up to date as the project moves along when new information becomes available. When content is finished, press begins, and product is shipping, we’ll be sure to let you know!
