Physical Proofs Are In!

We just got our physical proof copy in the other day, so I have some images to show you!

There are few minor issues with the box, wooden bullets, and some component upgrades we'd like to make. We'll be communicating with press this week about those. Once those edits are complete, printing will begin!

Digital Proofs Approved, Future Updates, and BackerKit Closes Next Week!

We just recently approved digital proofs for Bullet♥︎, so I wanted to quickly talk a bit about what that means! When a game is submitted to the printer, we receive digital versions of the components laid out to confirm that the game is correct and we are able to move on with further production. Are all the components present in the right amounts? Do all the card fronts have the correct backs? Are the components going to be cut at the correct size? This is essentially a step to confirm that the printer understands the contents of the game so that they're printed correctly. Here's an example of one of the many sheets we received:

The next step is to receive physical and color proofs, which we are currently waiting on from the printer. I'll make an update about that when they come in! I'll also let everyone know when we have an updated delivery estimate from the printer. Needless to say delivery this year is likely!

Future Updates

With the Behind the Curtain series over and Bullet♥︎ at press, there's not too much more to talk about for this project. I'll still be updating as production continues, but the regular update schedule will be coming to an end. I'll try and make an update at least once a month. That being said, printing times can be extensive, so there may be a stretch during production where there won't be much to say other than "Printing is still ongoing!".

Ekolu ascends into a mystical deity-like triangular shape, becoming one with the concept of triangles. Every time players do 3-related things, they are "blessed" with 3 more bullets. When Ekolu uses her third pattern, she "heals", returning all bullets in her incoming to the center.

When she’s feeling particularly mischievous, Young-Ja traps guests inside her hospital and subjects them to what most would call torture. If they manage to escape the onslaught of sharp objects, they’ll be blasted with incessant metallic noise from every hospital PA. Once they’ve lost their hearing, they’re greeted by a visage so horrifying it burns into their brain for eternity.

Young-Ja ramps up her game, assaulting players with their surroundings. She can move player's bullets out of their sight, so they must keep them away from the edges of their sight to avoid taking hits.
